HOME - I provide general home organization including kitchen, pantries, cupboards, bedroom, closets, basement, garage. I also teach skills to achieve harmony in the family by improving communication, listening to all members of the family to come up with a plan that will be sustainable and enable each family member to be comfortable in their own space.
SELLING YOUR STUFF - I can help you sort it, arrange garage sales,and/or teach you how to get the best results from on-line selling sites.
SENIORS - downsizing can be an overwhelming task. I can help you break it down into achievable pieces and can ensure the job is done by any deadlines such as possession dates.
Qualifications
Thirty-five plus years in business. Before entering the business world I completed the Business Office Management course at VIU (Malaspina College at the time). I worked in retail for a few years, in charge of 14 departments. My husband and I started four businesses from scratch, developing marketing and sales strategies, procedure manuals, filing systems. Achieved Business Woman of the Year and Athena Award to recognize my business acumen. First woman President of the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, twice president of the Nanaimo Executives Association.
I have always been involved in consultative sales, showing patience and the ability to really listen to the needs of my clients. I am non-judgemental, so don't be afraid to call because you don't want me to see your business or home at it worst. Procrastination only allows for more clutter to enter your lives.
My husband and I raised four children, and before going back to the workforce, I took my job seriously as a homemaker, cultivating and canning, freezing our vegetables and fruits, baking 10 loaves of bread at a time, making jam and planning meals and grocery shopping to keep costs down. We also had four boarders so keeping everyone on schedule for their extra curricular activities and job schedules required a solid system. The electronic age has made this so much easier.
I have moved business offices five times, have moved our residence fifteen times. I have developed methods that are easy to replicate. Our last two moves were from a 3800 square foot home to a 1200 square foot home to 380 square feet in a motorhome. I can't begin to describe the feeling of freedom that we experienced by letting go of things we no longer used, or had duplicates of. We are now in the post acquisitional stage of our lives.

We realize now that you have to clear out the clutter in order to make room in your life for future adventures, and positive experiences.
