Is This Stuff Worth Anything?

Kelly Juhasz, principal, fine art appraisal and services, and owner of Wall Fiction Gallery will help us understand what to look for when working with your client’s antiques, art, coins and other collectibles. Understanding value characteristics for art, antiques and other collectible personal property can be tricky as each category of items requires advanced knowledge. But there are some basic traits that you can arm yourself with to more easily assess what might hold significant value versus what doesn’t. Knowing who to call after your assessment of items will also allow you to offer more value to your clients.

At the end of this talk, you will:

  • Learn what to look for in paintings, prints, collectibles and antiques
  • Begin to develop your skills of connoisseurship
  • See examples of a great finds that had significant value
