POC does not dictate business practices to its members. Connecting Over Cocktails is a chance for POC BC members to have a conversation about our current COVID-19 season.
Though in the Zoom meeting format, these meetings are meant to be a supportive place to learn and share, and will not be recorded.
Due to the quickly changing protocols within our province, and to expand the conversation, we have welcomed our BC counterparts, from the POC Vancouver Island Chapter, to join us.
Alcohol is not required to attend this virtual Happy Hour and we encourage you to consume responsibly.
Since we are physically distancing ourselves during this season of COVID-19, this is our way of "meeting for cocktails". Chats will be first & foremost about checking in with one another – with a splash of fun of course! Each month we will also be touching on a subject of interest.
Have you felt burned out – or frustrated recently – from running your own business?
Join us in sharing insight, experience and support, and let’s toast to learning and laughing from some (mild and ethically-appropriate) venting!
Fatigue, confusion, and burnout may be experienced more by organizers who have been at if for a while and who may be feeling the impact physically and mentally, but all business owners can relate to these feelings in some capacity.
This is a great opportunity for newer organizers to ask questions and learn from some of our veteran organizers!
If you cannot attend, and have a question about the topic, please contact elinor@GoodbyeClutter.ca and we will try to cover it. Then watch for the post-meeting minutes/summary. Feel free to share any preferred morning/evening/time of day/week that would work better for attendance as well.
POC BCLM members Elinor Warkentin, Koralee Pearson, and Lynne Jamieson will be hosting this week’s segment.
FREE as a value-add to & for POC BCLM & Vancouver Island Chapter members
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
