This month our speaker Danielle Turner from Velvet Pumpkin will talk about  Promoting using Video from 6:30 - 7:30pm.

Workshop Synopsis:

  • Get started with video (tips to help get over shyness)
  • Lesser known tips that will help your video stand out of the crowd of videos that are already out there
  • Simplify some techie stuff
  • Share some editing tricks and advice on free software
  • Some Hands On experience right in the workshop – so don’t forget to bring your cell phone or camera

Danielle TurnerDanielle Turner, founder of Velvet Pumpkin Productions, is passionate about her work as an award-winning video-media producer. Danielle’s work in technology and media arts has taken her all over the world. Through her company, Velvet Pumpkin Productions, she has created a wide variety of video-media for many businesses and institutions across many countries. Born in the prairies, raised on Vancouver Island, she’s lived her adult life in Vancouver, British Columbia, a place she calls the most exciting and beautiful city in the world.

  2. Speaker will begin promptly at 6:30pm - 7:30pm, followed by a short break, introductions, POC news & networking.
