Barbara Manuel has worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years and is currently a Senior Financial Advisor with a specialization in Business Banking at CIBC.
Barbara is committed to her Community and she currently serves on the board of directors for the Vancouver International Soccer Festival as well as the Vancouver Executive Association.
In addition to her focus on Financial Planning for Business Community, Barbara is passionate about health and wellness and has completed her Yoga Instructor Certification in 2013.
As an expert in the world of business banking, Barbara will discuss the variety of banking products available to small businesses.
Marilynn Bell is a CPA, CMA and has been in the bookkeeping/accounting profession for over 15 years. Marilynn Bell & Co Accounting Services has been operating for over 5 years. Marilynn has gained considerable knowledge and experience of small business needs. She is passionate about organizing and cleaning up prior processes that may need to be overhauled, implementing processes that reduce costs and create efficiencies.
Marilynn will introduce Organizers to the QuickBooks Self-Employed App and go through how to set it up, how to set up bank feeds, name expense accounts, mileage, taxes and invoices. Members will leave the meeting with clarity on what expenses to include in personal tax returns.
