The Calgary Chapter was established in 2005 and, as of 2018, we have approximately 60 members providing Professional Organizing services to Calgary and the surrounding area.
We provide a supportive environment for local POC members. We encourage our members to network & share ideas. We are in support of passing along referrals, strive for quality service for our clients and aim to increase professionalism in our industry.
The Calgary Chapter is proud to include Silver Leaf members, Gold Leaf Members as well as members who have successfully completed the POC Trained Professional Organizer Program.
Our Chapter schedule provides our members with an opportunity to network & to learn with others in our profession. We aim to meet monthly and keep the schedule with varied day/evening times to allow members the flexibly to attend as many meeting as possible.
We strive to provide a Professional Development Day each year with topics that vary from business development to personal growth. We also host a Calgary Gives Back charity day which is not only rewarding but also a lot of fun too!
(Note: we don’t typically meet July/August & December)
Our meeting are often hosted at one of the Calgary Public Library spaces. We do our best to keep consistency in our meeting location, but it may vary based on availability. Please refer to our meeting/event information to confirm the location.
There is a fee of $20 for guests to attend our meetings. Our Professional Development Days are $50 for guests. There is no charge for POC members.
