Organizing Where There Is An Illness

We all know that when somebody becomes ill life can get turned upside down with medical appointments, tests and procedures, and that recovery periods can be long and difficult with the challenges of side effects, mobility issues, fatigue and set backs. It is often a confusing and overwhelming time especially when all the areas of life that have nothing to do with an illness still need to carry on.

Let our own Lynda Peterson, 2-time cancer survivor and author of The Healing Journal: Taking Control of Your Journey Through Cancer show you what its like from a patient’s perspective and how you, a professional organizer, can help your clients to take control of the details, organize their homes and lives and de-clutter their minds so that they are free to concentrate on healing.

Lynda will share with us a little of her own story while discussing the key elements of organizing the client, their medical records, their support systems and their homes during these difficult times all in a way that will help you take your client from feeling victimized to feeling empowered.
