POC Toronto
The Toronto Chapter is POC's largest and oldest chapter, dating back to 1999 when the visionary individuals who would ultimately create POC began meeting in Toronto. From our humble beginnings in a newly-developing industry, this chapter has grown to become an active group of nearly 100 members. Our boundaries have narrowed as POC has expanded and new chapters have been established. We now include organizers from Steeles Avenue to Lake Ontario, and Rouge Valley in the east to Mississauga in the west. The Toronto Chapter offers professional organizers a supportive environment for education and interactive discussion about our industry. The Chapter Executive has been hard at work preparing the 2008 - 10 Strategic Plan. Our fall program plan is taking shape to provide members and their guests with an opportunity to network, socialize, increase their business and professional organizing knowledge, and explore new and developing aspects of the professional organizing industry. Guests have the opportunity to meet our membership and are encouraged to join in, learning about the variety of services that organizers provide. Before each meeting, experienced organizers are available for a New Member/New Organizer information session information and question/answer session. Individuals new to the industry and to POC can ask questions and learn more about POC and the industry in general. 2009 2010 Season Our first meeting for the 2009 2010 season will be held on Monday September 14th.
