About the Calgary Chapter

The Calgary Chapter was established in 2005 and as of December 2008 we have over 50 members represented from Calgary, including Bragg Creek, Crossfield, Edmonton and Strathmore.  The Calgary chapter is proud to include Silver Leaf members, CPOs and members who have successfully completed the POC Trained Professional Organizer Program.  The Calgary Chapter's focus in 2009 will be on business growth and education.  As a growing and vibrant group we are pleased to be hosting the POC National Conference in November 2009, co-hosted by the Edmonton and Calgary POC Chapters.

About Calgary Chapter Meetings

Our Chapter meetings provide our members with an opportunity to network and learn with others in our profession.
We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from September to June, and have a social gathering in the summer.

Regular Chapter Meeting Agenda

Unless otherwise noted in the meeting event information the meeting format will be as follows:

Doors open at 6:55 pm
7:00 - 7:15. Announcements & updates for members
7:15 - 8:00 speaker
8:00 - 8:15 speaker Q & A
8:15 - 8:30 open discussion, end of meeting
8:30 - 8:55 optional networking

Meeting Location

We meet at a French school near Mount Royal College.
The name of the school is La Cité des Rocheuses / École Marguerite Bourgeois.

If you would like to learn more about professional organizing, our chapter would be pleased to have you join our group as a guest. Whether you are considering starting your own business, or have already started, our Calgary Chapter will provide you with the support and encouragement to build a professional organizing business. To attend a meeting as a guest or if you are a new member please contact us at calgary@organizersincanada.com.
There is a small fee of $20 for guests to attend, there is no charge for POC members.
